  1. I’ve just discovered your blog (via Rambling in the garden) and have been reading back. I was interested to see what you had to say about INNS. I was slightly shocked and saddened to see crocosmia growing in a rocky cove in Cornwall last week. Your poly tunnel contents look magnificent. Looking forward to reading more.

    • Welcome, the Rambling Gardener and I are blogging friends and enjoy some irreverent banter! I confess to being a bit nerdy and get occasionally have a rant, so my gardening blog includes asides about island life. On a small island environmental problems can easily become major issues, which is why we are making a noise about INNS. I loathe and detest Crocosmia, it is a blight on the landscape and has become a real problem in parts of the Highlands. I know lots of people love it, but I do wish they’d decided not to share it!
Now I’ve got that over – thank you the polytunnel is my pride and jpy and a great refuge on rainy days.
